4. I believe that labels are limiting and students own the right to change, grow, and evolve as they see fit.

5. I believe in fostering–and creating–a warm, approachable, welcoming, and encouraging environment for students and families.

6. I believe in utilizing a data-driven, thoughtful approach to my profession, with the goal of striving towards consistency and excellence.

7. I believe that each and every student has at least one stand-out, unique, and redeeming personal quality worthy of both praise and admiration.

8. I believe in trying to be the kind of counselor that I would wish to have for myself.

9. I believe that representation matters: All students deserve to have fair and equal access and opportunity to take Advanced–and Special Program–courses and curricular opportunities.

10. I believe in hope for the next generation, and that my students will help to create and usher-in a world that is markedly better than the present reality.
